A CatScan Is Not An Animal

You may have seen on the Hitomi Dental Office website that we are able to do Cat Scans (CT) at our Akasaka Office and wondered what that meant. My patient and friend Rebecca Green is a perfect example of how a CT scan is beneficial in determining the best dental procedure for our patients. In Rebecca’s case, we are doing multiple root canals and it is important to have a complete picture of the area we are working on. With a CT scan of Rebecca’s teeth we can get a 3D picture of her tooth structure and catch any issues that may not be visible on a traditional X-Ray. Along with that, we use the latest in specialized diamond-tipped ultrasonic endodontic instruments. With these advanced dental tools, we can make sure that the area we are going to operate on is thoroughly cleaned and free of any potential infection source. What does that mean? Simple. You can rest assured that we have taken every precaution to make sure that every patient’s root canal procedure is successful. For Rebecca that means one very important thing. She has the best chance of making her teeth more healthy and keeping them for the rest of her life. Want to see this procedure first hand? Easy? Come see us at Hitomi Dental Office in Akasaka and we’ll show you how it works.
