Eat right. It can help.

If you try to eat right, chances are you are thinking about your body–your muscles and your bones–and maybe not about your teeth. However, it’s important to keep in mind some key foods that promote good dental health. Fortunately, nutrition rules for a healthy body also apply to your teeth.
Dairy – milk, yogurt and good Japanese tofu
Protein – meat, chicken and eggs
Produce – fruits and veggies
Nuts – protein, minerals and chewing promotes saliva production that helps prevent tooth decay.
And as you know, reduce your intake of sugary sodas and other sweetened food and drinks. If you have any questions on dental nutrition, don’t hesitate to ask any of us at Hitomi Dental Office.
